The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League conducts: - Voter registration at Naturalization Ceremonies and other opportunities throughout the year - Sponsor Legislative Coffees - Organize issue and candidate forums during election and legislative session

Kids Voting South Dakota: A K - 12 civic education program designed to educate students and excite them about the democratic process. Students learn about our democracy through hands-on, action-oriented, classroom lessons with community and family involvement. Chiesman Democracy Conference: ​An annual conference regarding the state of democracy in South Dakota with panels of scholars, practitioners, and politicians studying democracy and South Dakota civic life.

Reaching out to Democrats of all ages and convene to share ideas, plan events, raise funds, and work to inform citizens and elect qualified Democratic candidates.
