Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

Therapists, counselors, and case managers provide: - Individual and family counseling (e.g., marriage counseling, parenting skills, trauma informed services, EMDR, depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management, coping skill development, etc) - Addiction and dependency services - Evaluations and assessments - Social learning programs - Systems of Care - Prevention services, providing presentations to student and adult groups on a large number of topics and consists of a library that contains over 1,000 items available for check out at the main Lemmon office Offering services via telehealth. Aimed at helping people with a severe and persistent mental illness to live successfully in the community. This program stresses outreach to consumers and the provision of services according to the individual consumer's needs, and is available through Dakota Counseling Institute's Pathway program located in a separate building beside the main office in Mitchell. Each consumer is assigned a case manager who, with the active participation of the consumer, designs an individualized treatment plan outlining the various services which will be provided to reach individualized treatment goals. Examples of services provided are case management, medication management, crisis intervention housing assistance, linkage to appropriate community services, and telehealth services.
