Women to the Workforce - A career development program designed to help prepare participants to obtain employment. Participants will be assigned a mentor who will encourage and support her throughout the program, and will also attend sessions addressing a variety of topics such as: Organizing the job search Utilizing community resources Cover letters and resumes Putting your best foot forward Interview tips, techniques and feedback Tapestry Women's Career Network: A job retention program that addresses the needs of those navigating the workplace, but may not have a network to rely on to keep them engaged. Members work to achieve self-defined success in their careers and in life. Making Cent$ Financial Literacy Program: Focuses on women looking to get their financial house in order and ease a financial burden by creating a small cohort that meets monthly with local expert presenters that can provide a personal perspective about what is possible and address specific financial concerns. ​Women's Leadership Program: Facilitates the development of female leaders by utilizing the experiences and skills of established women. Women in any career field can benefit from this intensive course, which combines a strong personal development focus along with valuable professional development experiences.

LIHEAP (Low Income Heating and Energy Assistance Program) Heating, cooling, weatherization and crisis assistance for tribal members within Pine Ridge Tribal Land. CSBG (Community Service Block Grant) Limited household assistance for self-sufficiency, homelessness, medical, emergency travel, youth and community activities.

A collaborative housing initiative for at-risk individuals. Individuals with credit problems, poor rental history (damage or unpaid rent), or criminal background have difficulty finding housing. Individual's must have a source of income, the unit available must be affordable for them, they must go through TCO's Genesis program, and agree to monthly home visits.

Financial Assistance: Utility Assistance for past due and disconnection notices including water, lights, and heating. To be screened for utility assistance or for information about current eligibility guidelines, please call 605-342-0982. Non-Financial Assistance Programs: Food Pantry: For those needing assistance with food. Clothing Vouchers: For those needing assistance for Clothing. Assistance may only be given 1 time for every 3 months. Household Boxes: For those needing assistance with items used to cook and eat a meal. A lease must be shown to the caseworker in order to receive assistance. Assistance is limited according to what is available at the time. Pathway of Hope: Program for eligible families. Long term case management program to help families move beyond crisis into stability and becoming self-sufficient. Families will be required to meet with a caseworker to design a plan to meet goals, needs and objectives (ex. goal setting, assistance getting healthcare, educational opportunities, etc).

Provides women's professional clothing for those looking for, as well as obtaining employment For a scheduled interview, one appropriate career outfit is provided, including accessories, footwear, and additional cosmetic/toiletry items With confirmed employment, clients may return to Dress for Success for up to one week's worth of attire suited for her employment setting In addition to clothing, offers access to career coaching, as well as programming to help find and retain employment, and mentoring.

Offers practical classes on topics such as finances, parenting, Christianity, nutrition, and marriage. These classes will provide incentives for people when homework is completed and life goals are achieved. Each Spring and Fall quarters are at a different partnering church. Life INC classes are held Thursday evenings and provide a free meal as well as a free children's ministry/care.

Provides one-on-one coaching over the phone to transition out of poverty. Clients work with a coach to identify their needs and map the necessary steps to meet those needs. Coaches then support clients as they take steps and make progress towards their goals. The Transition to Success mindset is that poverty is not a character flaw, but rather a treatable condition caused by negative circumstances. The coaching process is nonjudgmental and client-led. Gives a helping hand to assist highly motivated, low-income individuals and families with becoming economically self-sufficient. Assists in removing the barriers and providing job skills and educational opportunities to enhance the entire family and provide economic self-sufficiency.
