Connecting Kids provides information and financial resources for families who may need assistance in getting their kids involved in extra curricular activities. Youth and community center. Meals are provided and children have a small library, games, and computer. The center hosts many classes and programs with learning opportunities for everything from Lakota art, music, building rockets, archery, hand games, horse camps, summer camps, and daily living skills. There is a community laundromat and food pantry open to the community.

Call the Helpline Center and you will be provided with a list of day care providers and preschool or school age programs near your preferred location. The Child Care Helpline identifies child care providers for all families, including people with non-traditional work schedules and parents of children with special needs. Providing academic support, mentorship, recreational activities and career guidance for students in 6th - 12th grade. Nourishing meals and snacks are provided.

Free, year round drop-in youth center, offering homework help, video games, a music room, art supplies, billiards, and so much more. In addition to the youth center, it also hosts a variety of youth-oriented after school programs and special events where teens can spend time with their friends in a safe, supervised setting.

Harmony South Dakota's Sistema-based program serves children ages 7 - 18 through immersive music education and performance.

Benefits include swimming lessons, outdoor activities, and hands-on reading, math, science activities (STEM) to keep young minds engaged out of school and lessen the summer learning gap.

Offers group exercise, senior classes, strength and cardio equipment, swimming, after school child care and a variety of youth programming (including preschool and summer camps) with the goal of making accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and thrive.

Madison Community Center oversees the following services: ASP (After School Program) which is designed to offer kids a safe and adult supervised environment filled with physical and educational activities, Madison Parks including recreation, youth programs, ice skating rinks and Madison associations including youth baseball, Madison Aquatic Center, CC Wellness Studio, fitness, and Birthday Party Rooms.

After-school care for boys and girls ages 10 - 18 meeting intensive outpatient guidelines for addiction recovery treatment. Services offered include: - Drug and alcohol treatment needs assessment - Intensive outpatient group program - Continued Care group program - Individual therapy - Telehealth options available - Learning Above and Beyond (LAB) afterschool prevention based program

Provides worship services, kids worship, Sunday school, and adult groups. Offers adult, youth, and children's ministries. Adult Bible studies and small groups are offered at various times throughout the week. Anchored student ministry meets Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Awana for kids age 3rd - 4th grade and Rev56 for kids 5th - 6th grade is offered Wednesdays at 6:30pm during the school year. Check the website for more details and a full list of what is available. Calvary Kids Club offers year round daycare for babies, toddlers, and preschool age children as well as a summer program for elementary children in a state-licensed childcare program. Calvary Kids Preschool has classes for 3 and 4 year olds and Junior Kindergarten.

Custer YMCA offers programs for adults and children. Programs include childcare, adult sports, archery, aquatics (swim lessons, lap swim, aquatic group exercise), CPR and First Aid instruction, fitness center, soccer, basketball, baseball, pickleball, tumbling, tennis, martial arts, senior walking, and summer day camps.

Provides coaching, education and mentorship services to both youth and adults in transition; life transition, work transition or transition from incarceration and homelessness. Support is provided to the vulnerable through group and individual life, character and career coaching classes.

Promotes afterschool programs, advocates public policy on behalf of afterschool programs, and encourages high quality in afterschool programs across South Dakota.
