The SEPRC works with others across the state to provide prevention resources, training and technical assistance through program development and training. Offers a 12-hour diversion class for individuals aged 17 - 20 years, designed for individuals who may be making high-risk choices and aim to change drinking and drug use behaviors.

Safer Lock Box is a 4-digit, 10,000 combination locking medicine box. It allows storage of all prescription and over the counter medications in one secure place, and assists in protecting family members from accidental poisoning or medicine misuse. Safer Lock Boxes will only be distributed to South Dakota residents. Individuals can call the Resource Hotline to request a Safer Lock Box be sent to them. - Request a medication lock box as an individual.
