The Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection Program is a peer-to-peer program that matches newly diagnosed patients and their families with trained volunteers who have been touched firsthand by a blood cancer and shared similar experiences.
Online Chats: Live, weekly online chats provide a friendly forum to share experiences and chat with others about anything from the initial phase of diagnosis to treatment and survivorship. The Dakota Smiles program is designed to assist children (ages 0-21) who do not have access to care and who do not have a dental home (children who have not seen a dentist for two years or live more than 85 miles from a dentist). No child will be turned away for inability to pay for services.
Services provided include: diagnostic and preventive procedures, restorative procedures and tooth extractions.
The first 2 days are reserved for check-ups. The second half of the week is reserved for any follow-up appointments.
