Committed to providing the restoration of the gifts of sight and health through eye and tissue donations. Eye Banks across the country provide more that 50,000 corneas for sight restoring transplants annually. Programs available include: - Community Awareness/Programs and Education on eye, organ, and tissue donation - Hospital/Funeral Home in-servicing on donation and the necessary procedures to make donation happen - Facility tours.
The National Kidney Foundation of the Dakotas is dedicated to the detection, prevention and treatment of diseases of the kidney and urinary tract. The foundation seeks to improve the health and well being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. Provides patient and community services, professional education, research, organ donation programs, referral services, and educational materials are available upon request to the public and healthcare professionals.
