- Artists in residencies

The Zonta Club of Pierre-Fort Pierre is a member of Zonta International. Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls.
The Pierre-Fort Pierre Club is a service club that generates money from the sale of booths at a Fall Craft and Vendor Show. The money raised goes to scholarships, grants to local organizations and to make and serve a meal at a local community banquet.
Members also participate in service-related events such as a community garden plot to raise fresh vegetable for the local food pantry, a closet of gently used professional clothing for women and collecting donations for the local domestic violence center.

Program for single parents working toward a college degree. People in the program receive up to $4,800 in funding, and are also matched with a mentor to help support them toward their goals. 73% of the parents who participate in our program make it to graduation. To qualify, must be a single parent within two years of obtaining a college degree.

Provides financial assistance in the following forms:
Co-pay Relief Assistance: provides financial assistance to insured individuals who meet eligibility qualifications to help pay for prescriptions and/or prescribed medical treatments. Helps patients afford the out-of-pocket costs for these items that their insurance companies don't cover.
Financial Aid Funds: Provides small grants for expenses outside medical costs to patients who meet financial and medical criteria.
Scholarship Funds: Provides academic scholarships for post-secondary school to young adults who have experienced the impact of a chronic illness or life-threatening disease.

The criteria to apply for the scholarships are as follows: the child must be in long-term foster care, the child or family must approach the merchant and ask for a reduction in the cost of the activity, and no other state or local program availability to assist with the costs. Also provides bedroom furniture and food assistance to enable foster families to take in sibling groups or older or younger children.
