This agency operates the following programs: Air Conditioners - Must be income eligible (125%), be signed up at the agency and have a medical statement stating they need an AC. Also cannot have received one in the last 3 years. Distribution is primarily in June of each year. Please call for an appointment. Medical Equipment Lending - Available for those in need of bathtub seats, shower and tub rails. Thrift Store - Low cost items with proceeds going to fund free food and special projects. 9:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday.

A special work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Sioux Falls District Council is operating a retail thrift store in Northeastern Sioux Falls. A second location on the corner of W. 41st Street and Tea-Ellis Road is currently set to open in the Fall of 2024. Those in need can find new and gently used items for a minimal cost. The store offers everything from furniture, household, and crafts items to clothing for men, women and children. Earnings from the store are used to directly assist those in need by helping pay rent, utilities, food, clothing, household, transportation for work and medical, prescriptions, and other necessities.
