Mentoring occurs for at least one hour per week for one year. - School-Based Mentoring: The volunteer mentor and child meet at the child's elementary school during the school day for mentoring. Mentoring occurs for at least one hour per week for one school year. - South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures: The volunteer mentor and youth complete outdoor activities together, which may include: hunting, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and hiking. Mentoring duration and commitment for this program varies by individual match. - Mentor Mom: The Young Mom and Mentor Mom meet for mentoring at least one hour each week for a year.
