Furniture Program | Furniture Mission

A non-profit organization of Christian volunteers who help economically disadvantaged families and individuals in the Sioux Falls and surrounding communities with furniture (including mattresses) free of charge to help them furnish their home. Furniture - referral process: - Be referred from a community agency (ex: Center of Hope, Lutheran Social Services, Children's Home Shelter for Family Safety , St. Francis House, Church, School, Hospitals, etc.) - Have a completed referral form via the website or via Helpline Center Network of Care - Have not used the services in the past 2 year. After the referral has been sent: - The Furniture Mission will be calling to schedule an appointment - If clients are unable to pick up the furniture on there own there is usually a two week waiting list for delivery of furniture - Deliveries will only be done via curbside service. Furniture Mission will leave the items outside, and applicants must finish the work of bringing it into the home/residence. The truck will wait for a 15 minute window after delivery time, and if no one is present, the furniture will be loaded back up.
