Drug Court | South Dakota Unified Judicial System
The drug court program is an intensely supervised treatment court for offenders who have a substance abuse disorder that relates to their criminal charges. Treatment providers work with probation officers to build individual skills and support so offenders are able to progress from the criminal courts into lives of recovery and stability.

Eligibility
Must be a felony charge, no current charges of distribution, willingness to reside within designated 25 mile radius to ensure intensive supervision, substantially impacted by abuse or dependence on drugs, screened legally eligible by the States Attorney, voluntarily enters the Drug Court and not required to register as a sex offender.
