Community Gardens | City of Sioux Falls Health Department

Sioux Falls Community Garden is a cooperative effort involving the City of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County Master Gardeners, Minnehaha County Extension Service, and a dedicated group of volunteers, including more than 200 individual gardeners. Gardeners are responsible for planting, maintenance (including weeds and garden paths), harvesting, and end of season clean up.

Application process

Registration is only available online, at livewellsiouxfalls.org watch for updated registration information beginning in mid-January through the end of February. Complete the online form and submit. You will receive a confirmation email within 3 business days. Preference is given to gardeners from the previous year who have properly maintained their plots; registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility

Open to Sioux Falls residents on a first-come, first-serve basis; out-of-town residents will be included as space permits.
