During a disaster extra resources may be required to enable the citizens of Beadle County to mediate the disaster. This office provides a liaison to the State EOC (Emergency Operations Center) which takes resource requests and allocates them according to need. The Beadle County Dive Team operates under the Beadle County Emergency Management Office and works to provide water rescue and recovery of individuals, evidence recovery, and support for community underwater activities. There is a community storm shelter located in the underground parking garage of the Crossroads Hotel, 100 4th Street S.W. County Emergency Managers can make contact with volunteer fire departments in their County.
