Animal Care | Humane Society of the Black Hills
Animal Behavior Information: Wondering how to potty train your animal, or how to stop a behavior? Humane Society of the Black Hills (HSBH) has information available to help you understand your animals' behavior and how to change that behavior with positive training. Animal License: Per the city ordinance, all animals need to be licensed. Licenses can be purchased at HSBH or a participating veterinarian. Please bring a rabies immunization certificate and documentation regarding if the animal is altered or not altered. Licenses need to be renewed on a yearly basis. Please call for more information on animal license fees. Microchipping: Permanent identification for your pet in case they are lost. Microchipping only takes a couple minutes and helps to increase the chance that your lost animal will be returned home. Please call for information on microchipping fees.
