The Labor Market Information Center (LMIC)'s purpose is to collect, analyze and provide to the public information on the labor market of the state, such as employment levels, unemployment rates, wage and earnings data, estimates of available labor, employment projections, employment staffing patterns, career planning information, etc. Much of this information is available online. The following items are available to the public: South Dakota Labor Bulletin, South Dakota's Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, South Dakota Wage Publication, South Dakota Benefits Survey, South Dakota Careerwise, and Community Labor Profiles.
