Outreach Support (for older adults) Program | Helpline Center

Providing emotional and resource support to older adults through weekly supportive phone calls. Program participants receive the following: - Weekly scheduled phone calls for 6 weeks transitioning to monthly. - Total length of program is 6 months. - Information on additional community resources available to them. - Assistance in developing additional support systems. For clients who are not currently enrolled in the program but are wanting to be, please complete the Outreach Support Intake Form.

Eligibility

Individuals 60 years and older who are isolated and/or homebound and have minimal support from family/friends.

The Helpline Center answers the 2-1-1 information and referral line and 9-8-8 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for the state of South Dakota. There are also other support services available.
